Learn some scrapbooking tips that will help
you out and save time.
I have been
scrapping for many years and have learned a few
tips. There are some tips here from some of my
subscribers. I hope they help you.

A. The first
scrapbook tip I can give you
is to get organized. Find a space that you can keep
all of your supplies and photos in one spot.
B. Good lighting can increase your
productivity. Try to use a clear natural light (you
can get them at your hobby and discount stores).
C. To remove
your photos from magnetic albums use a slender knife
or dental foss. Just slide the knife or floss behind
the photo and gradually slide it down. Never force a
photo from the page and never use heat to loosen the
photos.
D.
Sort your photos according to how you want your
scrapbook. Sort the photos by year or event and put
them in archival photo envelopes and put them in a
storage box. This way when you are ready all you
have to do is pull out the envelope you want.
E.
Remember that photos aren't the only memories worth
preserving. You go to special events and you have
ticket stubs, programs, ribbons and other
interesting items that you want to save. Organize
them the same way you did your photos.
F.
For punches that dull, punch through heavy duty
aluminum foil. When a punch sticks just punch
through wax paper a few times to re-lubricate them.
Joan of Florida sent this one in.
G.
A locked toolbox works great for cleaners,
fixatives, sprays and solvent if there are small
children in your house.
H.
To prevent your paper from fading, keep in a clean,
dry place away from direct sunlight.
I.
Try to use small and flat objects whenever possible
to eliminate excess bulk.
J.
The focal point of your page should be a close-up
shot. They have more impact than photos with distant
subjects.
K.
You can add style and variety to your page by
cropping your photos into shapes. Don't lose your
content by cropping to close.
